I like how he describes the Falcon as the Taurus of its day, but I think he’s referring to the old midsize Taurus, not not the big premium sedan currently offered. Today’s Falcon would probably be the Fusion.
At any rate, the old Falcon is just about the perfect car to represent the show. I’m looking forward to seeing it in action with that 302 and AOD.

Yeah, I agree. I think most people still think of the Taurus as the late 80’s early 90’s model. I agree the new one is very upscale.
Yeah I can't wait to see the falcon in the future.

I think Ford was trying to trick (faithful Taurus buyers?) into buying “more” car than they might have planned.
Kind of like how full-size trucks like the Silverado have grown over the years. I used to drive a 1990 C1500, and it’s surprising to think a new Colorado could replace it.
